Ascorbyl palmitate is formed by esterification of palmitic acid and L-ascorbic acid and other natural components. Its chemical formula is C22H38O7. It is an efficient oxygen scavenger and synergist. Nutritious, non-toxic, efficient, and safe food additive, it is the only antioxidant in China that can be used in infant food. This product can play anti-oxidation, food (oil) color protection, nutritional enhancement and other effects when used in food.
