Calcium silicate is an inorganic substance with the chemical formula of CaSiO3, which is mostly acicular crystal and white powder. Odorless, non-toxic, soluble in strong acids, insoluble in water, alcohol, and alkali. When heated to 680-700 ºC, the crystalline water is removed, and the crystal shape does not change. The calcium silicate microcrystalline slurry is prepared by mixing silicic acid, quicklime, and water in a certain proportion and performing a hydrothermal reaction to generate calcium silicate microcrystalline slurry, which is filtered, washed, and dried.

Calcium silicate is formed by calcining and melting calcium carbonate and silicon dioxide at high temperatures. Due to different formation conditions, crystal morphology and uses are different. Mainly used as building materials, thermal insulation materials, refractory materials, physical pigments and carriers for coatings, filter aids, candy polishing agents, gum sugar powder dispersants, rice coating agents, suspension agents, and analytical reagents.
