The chemical name of alanine is 2-aminopropionic acid, which is an aliphatic nonpolar α- amino acid. Alanine is a nonessential amino acid and a raw sugar chemical book amino acid. It is mainly used to synthesize pantothenic acid, calcium pantothenate, carnosine, etc., and is widely used in medicine, feed, food and other fields. It is also used as corrosion inhibitor for electroplating and biochemical reagent.

1. Alanine transport: The transmembrane transport of amino acids is crucial for cell metabolism and nutrient transport in vivo.
